Smilecloud is a digital workspace made for dentists and technicians. It gives you simple tools to create Smile Designs and AI Video Simulations, Blueprint projects, organise your patient files, communicate with both team and patients while keeping everything organized in one place.

Patients can see a preview of their future smile and AI Before & After Videos before you even start. Instead of explaining with words or flat drawings, you show them something real and convincing. This makes patients more confident, more likely to understand the goals, implications, possible outcomes and saves you from long back-and-forth discussions.

While you can’t export printable or millable models or restorations from Smilecloud, you benefit from 2 ways that shorten your process:

1. Order them through integrated third-party digital labs. This makes it simple to turn your smile design into printable 3D models, guides, or restorations. The process is seamless: design in Smilecloud, connect to the lab in just a few clicks, and receive high-quality results from trusted specialists. The benefit? Less time managing files, fewer errors, and more reliable outcomes for you and your patients.
2. Use Blueprint to structure your ideas, align with collaborators, and export designs that are tailored for digital planning and design tools.

A Biometric Smile Design is created to follow the natural rules of facial harmony. Instead of relying on manual lines and guesswork, Smilecloud uses your patient’s face as a reference for a smile that truly fits them.

Because it was developed by dentists for dentists, we understand the real needs of restorative designs and the importance of shape libraries. You simulate directly on the patient’s portrait as an image or as a video, which becomes both a map for your team and a powerful communication tool for helping patients understand and accept your vision.

Smilecloud combines your input (facial references and restorative space) with real-time algorithms that search for natural 3D tooth shapes matching your criteria.

The software takes into account user input such as defining the tissue architecture, line angles, restorative space, proportions, and more - while scanning a vast library of natural shapes.

The user will then be able to select any item at their discretion to create unique compositions, which Smilecloud will instantly render as a virtual mock-up directly on the patient’s face. This way, you can highly personalize your vision according to patient preferences and turn it into a visual canvas for the patient and team communication.

No. Smilecloud is web-based, which means:

• You don’t need to install heavy software.
• It works on any regular computer or laptop.
• All you need is a modern browser (like Chrome, Opera, or Edge) and a stable internet connection.
• You can also design on iPads, which makes it easier to work chairside with patients to show them options during the consultation.

Imagine this. You have a vision of what you want to do. Blueprint helps you combine smile designs and 3D anatomical references in one organized view. This creates perspective and allows you to explore different scenarios in a visual canvas where you and your team can bring input and added value. Having something visual makes it clear and understandable.

Smilecloud works directly in a browser (Google Chrome, Edge or Opera) , from a laptop or computer. You don’t need to install heavy software, but because of the powerful rendering tools a modern processor is optimal. For minimum requirements, see Instructions for Use.

Blueprint lets you stack multiple layers of data: scans, DICOMs, designs and portraits. Using this context you can manually search for anatomy that corresponds to your vision, patient preferences. This becomes a shared visual canvas for you to discuss with your team. Once finalised the export gives you the project in the coordinates you created which serves as a support for your preferred digital planning or design software.

Blueprint is registered as a medical device, available in the following countries: Germany, Spain, Austria, Poland, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Andorra, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Guadeloupe, Iceland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Reunion, San Marino, Slovakia, Ireland (excluding Northern Ireland), Italy, Monaco, France, Lithuania, Slovenia, Portugal and Romania.

It is a new render-only project type in Smilecloud that allows you to create before-and-after simulation videos and 3D review scenes from a single STL surface file. It brings you many benefits, such as:

To create a Signature Design project, simply prepare a facial photo of the patient, a corresponding intraoral scan and a single surface STL file from digital wax-up, a physical wax-up (scanned) or any aesthetic setup exported as STL.

Yes. You can log in with the same account on your computer, laptop, or iPad. Since Smilecloud is web-based, your cases are always synced, so you can switch devices anytime without losing progress.

Yes. If you’re on a Business Plan, you can easily manage who has access. You can add new colleagues, remove users when they leave, or update roles directly from your account settings.

Smilecloud works on a simple subscription model:

1. You choose a monthly or yearly plan.
2. Payments are charged automatically at the start of each period (month or year).
3. You can cancel anytime directly from your account - no calls, no hassle.

If you cancel, you’ll still keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

You can pay securely with:

1. Credit or debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).
2. PayPal, if you prefer.

All transactions are handled through secure payment providers, so your data stays safe.

No. With the Business Plan, you can add team members under the same subscription. This means you pay for your colleagues, control access and costs, while they simply log in and work. As your team grows or changes, you can easily add or remove members at any time.

Yes. Your subscription is flexible, you can upgrade or downgrade whenever you need. If your workflow changes, your plan can change with you.

No. Your data is safely stored for up to 1 year after you cancel your subscription. You can take a break if needed and come back later on.

Yes. Every payment generates an automatic invoice with the company details you provide (clinic name, VAT number, address). You’ll receive it by email and you can also download it from your account at any time.

All patient data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored on secure AWS servers, and transmitted using TLS connections. Backup and recovery systems ensure you never lose access to your information.

Smilecloud is built with privacy in mind and is designed to support compliance with GDPR and other applicable laws (including U.S. CCPA and HIPAA, Canadian PIPEDA, and Brazilian LGPD).

You do. Smilecloud acts as a data processor, which means we handle data only according to your instructions. This is formalized in a Data Processing Addendum (DPA). You can request access, deletion, or return of your patients’ data at any time.
